Who Will Go?

Over the past several months, through a lot of prayer and personal encounters with the Lord, He has been sharing His heart for the Middle East with me. He’s given me a deep love for people I’ve never met! In prayer, He’s shown me how much He desires real relationship with them.

I’ve been keeping a running list in my notes app of the moments He has spoken to me about the unreached in the Middle East over the past year. That list is at 22 now!! Prayer moments, words, and visions that all point to the same invitation.

Here's a few:

• Summer 2025 — At a Jesus rally downtown, as I was praying, the Lord gave me a vision. I saw Jesus and I walking around a table filled with women who felt like the “least of these.” They were from all different nations and just looked deeply broken. Together, Jesus and I, washed their feet, co-laboring.

• December 2025 — A trusted pastor shared a prophetic word with me and said, “the Lord is planting seeds about you going back and forth to the nations.” I hadn’t told anyone what God had been stirring in me for months already!!

• Dec 31 2025 — I went to my church’s End of Year Conference and that morning I saw the Lord handing me an envelope (not sure at the time what this meant). Later that same night, a pastor from MAPS Global shared that the Lord has shown him angels handing out assignments and envelopes to people in the room. This led to an encounter with the Lord where He gave me a deep burden for Muslims.

• Jan 11 2026 — One morning, while getting ready for work (half awake at 5am), I heard the Lord so clearly. His voice was full of zeal and urgency. He asked, “Who will go?”. By then, He had already been speaking (A LOT), but I was still wrestling with fear. But in that moment, it became very real.

Who will carry the Gospel to those who have never heard? Matthew 24:14 says that this Gospel will be proclaimed to all nations, and then the end will come. And in Romans 11:25, we’re reminded that a partial hardening has come on Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

Did you know that there’s only roughly 1 missionary for every 400,000 unreached Muslims in the Middle East? There are millions of people who will never hear the name of Jesus or the story of the Father who loves them - unless people say “yes” to going and telling them about Him!

So I said, “I will go, Lord.”

This spring, I’ll be traveling to the Middle East with MAPS Global, a missions organization focused on seeing Jesus made known in the most unreached part of the world. They are sending teams to the Middle East to cover the people and land in prayer and worship for a 50-hour straight simultaneous prayer event! You may have heard stories of “the man in white” coming to refugees, indigenous villagers, even former ISIS fighters...and it’s true! Jesus is sweeping through the nations, displaying His glory to those who have yet to hear the Gospel, and He’s inviting me to go!

My heart isn’t to enter another culture and tell people that everything they’ve known is wrong. I’m going to intercede in prayer and help put a name to the God who has been pursuing them their entire lives.

The One who formed the seas and the mountains.The One who has been meeting them in dreams. The still, small voice that has been whispering truth and drawing them toward Himself.

He has a name, and His name is Jesus Christ.

And He desires real relationship with them.
